Constructed with the advanced X-MATRIX 2 shell, the helmet incorporates six layers of high-performance materials, including multiaxial fiberglass, 3D organic fibers, special aramid fibers, and carbon reinforcement. This sophisticated composite construction maximizes impact protection while maintaining a lightweight design of approximately 3.9 lbs (+/- 0.1 lb).
 
For superior airflow, the XTR Plain features six closable air intakes and two exhaust outlets that provide continuous ventilation throughout the helmet. The patent-pending Mid Airflow Chamber further enhances cooling by directing fresh air between the inner and outer EPS liners while efficiently expelling hot air through the rear exhaust vents.
 
The helmet comes equipped with a Pinlock 120 anti-fog lens and an advanced Visor Recoil System that automatically pulls the visor tightly against the dual-lip rubber seal for improved weather protection and reduced wind noise. An ultra-wide drop-down inner sun visor with an 80% tint provides a significantly larger field of vision, allowing riders to enjoy enhanced visibility in bright riding conditions.
 
Designed for modern touring, the XTR Plain is fully prepared for seamless integration with the NEXX X-COM 3 Bluetooth 5.2 Intercom System, including compatibility with the X-COM 3 PRO featuring Mesh 2.0 technology and premium sound by Harman Kardon.
 
Additional premium features include a removable side-mounted action camera support, the F.R.S. (Fast Release System) liner for easier interior cleaning and emergency helmet removal, an anti-vibration EPS system to reduce turbulence-induced vibrations, and a double-blade rear spoiler that improves high-speed stability and aerodynamic efficiency.
